We got together in the padded cell yesterday to do some more work on the set - everything was sounding more polished than I was expecting, which is good since we only have one more rehearsal session booked in before the Folk House benefit gig. Sadly Emily has decided to leave the band, so the next rehearsal and gig will be our last with her. She'll be missed.

My little Korg synth is working nicely and sounding great thanks to Tom Bugs (see Mark's post below). It'll be a most welcome addition to gigs and recordings from now on.

I'm having one of those days where I'd really like to listen to something but my brain won't let me process sound. Everything I hear is a bit irritating. I think it happens because music is an large part of my everyday routine...I can get a bit overloaded at times. I think it may be time for some therapeutic silence...
